She was predeceased by: her parents, Daisy Belle Hawkins and Grant Robertson; her husband William E. "Bill" Strickland; and her siblings, Sis Robertson Reese, Dub Robertson and Chick Robertson.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Jones (Paul) of Oxford, Mississippi and Dr. Les Jones (Sheila) of Madison, Mississippi. She is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
