She is survived by: her mother Bonnie Owens of New Albany, MS; her children, Meredis Williams, Dairius Carruthers of New Albany, MS and Eric Williams of New Albany, MS; her siblings, Kenyetta R. Morrow of San Jose, CA, Eric Owens of Etta, MS and Roland; her uncle Doyle Morrow (Sandra); her great-aunt Carrie L. Stevens (Charles) of Oxford, MS; and her close friend Eric Williams of New Albany, MS.. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins an friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the L. Hodges Funeral Service (721 Damascus Rd, Oxford, MS 38655). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Philadelphia M. B. Church (36 Co Rd 2006, Oxford, MS 38655). A burial was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at the same location.
