He is survived by: his wife Isabel Vasquez; his children, Elizabeth Gnehm (David) of Montreal, Edward Minier (Veronica) of Thaxton, Mississippi and Ellen Attebery (James) of Puyallup, Washington.; his grandchildren, Joseph Gnehm of Montreal, Sophia Gnehm of Los Angeles, California, Patrick Gnehm of San Antonio, Texas, Ezekiel Minier of Thaxton, Mississippi, Bailee Walden of Dallas, Texas, Boone Walden of Phoenix, Arizona, Izabella Attebery of Puyallup, Washington and Evangelena Attebery of Puyallup, Washington.; his siblings, Dulce Diaz of Santo Domingo, Milagros Diaz of Santo Domingo and Johnny Silverio (Trini) of Atlanta, Georgia.; his daughter Jacqueline Minier; and his brothers, Ignacio Espaillat and Luis Espaillat.
