She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Dunn and Celia Dunn; her husband Quinon Liddell Day; and her grandson Charles Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Day Collier of Oxford, MS and Quinon Day of Germantown, TN; her sisters, Lucy Gaines of Tupelo, MS, Barbara Shepard of Oxford, MS, Frances Daws of Hendersonville, TN and Linda Hatcher of Westerville, OH; and her grandchildren, Mary Margaret, Celie and Lauren. She is also survived by many loving great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Oxford University United Methodist Church (424 S 10th St, Oxford, MS 38655). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
