We bid farewell to Patty Jarrett Varner (Oxford, Mississippi), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 7, 2025 at the age of 80. Patty Jarrett touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parent Glenn Russell Jarrett (Mildred Tidwell Jarrett); her daughter Beverly Gail Varner; and her mother Mildred Tidwell Jarrett. She is survived by: her husband Wilson Dean Varner of Oxford; her children, Greg Varner (Elaine) of Oxford, Julie Varner Ingram (John) of Water Valley and Karen Varner of Canton; her sisters, Imogene Brown of Water Valley, Yvonne Hughes of Water Valley and Becky Moffett of Water Valley; her grandchildren, Ross Ingram (Madison), Brittany Williams (Joey), Julianna Ingram, Wilson Varner and Reese Ingram; and her great grandchildren, Layla Burell, Bowen Williams and Collier Jenkins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Union West Baptist Church (801 Co Rd 313, Oxford, MS 38655). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
