He was predeceased by: his parent Annie Brassell; and his sisters, Dorothy Adams and Annie Mae Brassell. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ester Brassell of Taylor, MS; his children, Rayburn Brassell (Benita) of Taylor, MS, Kevin Egerson (Yolanda) of Taylor, MS and Tambra Golden (Joshua) of Taylor, MS; his siblings, Dera Adams of Oxford, MS, Johnny Brassell (Brenda) of Oxford, MS, Rochester Brassell (Lucy) of Taylor, MS, Julia Brassell of Taylor, MS, Kenneth Brassell (Lakeitha) of Mobile, AL and Willie B Brassell (Debra) of Water Valley, MS; his grandchildren, Jermondae Brassell, Ty'Quiez Brassell, Ty'Lin Brassell and Kazyah Egerson; his great grandchild Dominic Brassell; his daughters, Ah'Yunda Pegues, Traci Robinson and Shamika Brassell; and his great grandchild Rylee Hicks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other relatives and many friends.
