He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Toma and Evelyn Toma (Hollopeter). He is survived by: his wife Anita Marlene Dowden of Oxford, Mississippi; his brother Stefan Toma (Rose) of Montreal; his sons, Danny Toma (Dana) of Oxford, Mississippi and Rory Toma (Georgia) of Alpharetta; and his grandchildren, Nicolae Toma (Hannah) of Bostic, Domenico Toma of Memphis, Patrick Toma of Oxford and Emily Toma of Oxford, Mississippi. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (406 University Ave, Oxford, MS 38655). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at the Oxford Memorial Cemetery (420 N 16th St, Oxford, MS 38655).
