We announce the death of Robert Lee Douglass Jr. of Oxford, Mississippi, who passed away on May 31, 2026, at the age of 73. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Douglass, Sr. and Nona Marie Mills Douglass; his brothers, Roger Clinton Douglass and Sidney Douglass; and his father-in-law Robert "Sandy" Forrest.
He is survived by: his wife Dianna Forrest Douglass of Oxford, MS; his pets, Ziggy and Harmony; his brother Stuart (Teresa); his stepmother Janice Reicker Douglass of Conroe, TX; his mother-in-law Barbara (Toby) Pace; his stepmother-in-law Ann Palmer of Camden, TN; and his sisters-in-law, Jenny Mink (Michael) of Burns, TN, Christina Forrest of Big Sandy, TN, Bethany (Casey) and Smith of Big Sandy, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
