He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Shaw of Oxford; his sister Jane Johnson of Canadian, TX.; his children, Laura Butler (Rob) of Oxford, Robert Shaw (Vickie) of Memphis and David Shaw (Susan) of Oxford; and his grandchildren, Robbie Butler (Laura), Oksana Butler, Natasha Butler, Carolyn Butler, Vova Butler, Vitali Butler, Lera Butler, Martha Shaw, Sarah Locke (Kenny), Rachel Shaw, Maggie Jackson (Dustin) and Kelly Shaw.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (924 Van Buren Ave, Oxford, MS 38655). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
