She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlisle Wilson and Sarah Wilson; her husband Leon; her brother Carl Wilson; her stepchildren, Brenda Lee Bullard and Edward Leon Bullard; and her former husband Avery Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Wood and Tate Wood (Nicole); her stepchildren, Angela Bullard Leslie, Ellen Bullard, Dennis Bullard, Scott Bullard and D'Wayne Bullard; and her grandchildren, Wil Wood and McLaine Wood. She is also survived by many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
