With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Thomas Lane Turpin Jr. of Oxford, Mississippi, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Thomas left this world on October 7, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Thomas Lane Turpin and Nadine Lindstrand Segabarth; his sister Tracy Turpin Young; and his son Jay Thomas Turpin. He is survived by: his wife Janet Johnson Turpin; his daughters, Mary Kathleen Renaudin (Will) and Lauren Taylor Monjeau (Derek); his grandchildren, Madyson Taylor Trueblood, Peyton Ann Trueblood and Shepard Lane Monjeau; and his sister Terri Lindstrand Turpin. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Hernando (1455 McIngvale Rd, Hernando, MS 38632).
