He was predeceased by: his parents, Vettra Curtis and Louise Mathis Alderson; his wife Amber Jo "Jackie" Lovell Alderson; his siblings, Virginia Johnson, Ann Locke and George Presley; and his grandson James Brett Alderson.
He is survived by: his children, V. Glenn Alderson, Jr. of Oxford, MS. and Laura Alderson of Memphis, TN; his granddaughter Caroline Alderson of Cleveland, MS; his sisters, Sue Brown of Oxford, MS and Sylvia Jenkins of Southaven, MS; and his pet Darla.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the West Hall at Waller Funeral Home (419 MS-6, Oxford, MS 38655). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oxford Memorial Cemetery (420 N 16th St, Oxford, MS 38655).
