He is survived by: his wife Jane Carolyn Smith Broome; his daughter Melinda Broome; his grandson Will Turner (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Marshall Turner, Dawson Turner and Leighton Turner; his brother Dr. James Carlock Broome (Hilda); his sister-in-law Barbara Broome; and his nieces and nephews, Danielle Willis (John), Roxanne Brown, Lara Baker (Jason), Emily Keaton (Keith), Suellen Wood, Bart Broome (Christy) and Erik Ray Broome (Teri).
