He was predeceased by: his parents, Essie Lee Smith Archie and Frank Archie; his sisters, Betty A. Goss (Roy) and Barbara Carr (Jimmy Sr.); his sister-in-law Lennette Ivy; and his nephew Patrick Archie.
He is survived by: his children, Zachary, Nigel Archie and Katelyn Burt; his daughter-in-law Patricia Dos Santos-Archie; his stepdaughters, Nya Williams and Courtenay Williams; his grandchildren, Zahria Archie, Maya Archie, Addyson Vaughn and Kolton Johnson; his siblings, Joyce Archie, Frank "Butch" Archie (Lutricia) of Oxford, MS and James Ivy, Jr. of Oxford, MS; his former spouses, Leetta White-Barr and Darlene Benoit; and his aunt Leona "Sally" Starks (Chester). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Viewing will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Second Missionary Baptist Church (611 E Jackson Ave, Oxford, MS 38655). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Oxford Memorial Cemetery North 16th (420 N 16th St, Oxford, MS 38655). A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at the same location.
