She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Franklin and Elzie Ratcliffe (McClellan); her husband Winfred A. Lightsey, Sr.; her siblings, Lanier and Johnny; her son Charles Eric Lightsey; and her grandson Quin Thomson.

She is survived by : her children, Deborah L. Thomson (Richard) of Hattiesburg, Andrew Franklin Lightsey (Debra) of Heidelberg and Winfred A. Lightsey, Jr. (Leahnne) of Petal. She is also survived by loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
