He is survived by: his wife Cecile Buckman; and his children, Dewayne Buckman, Richard Buckman (Kim), Travis Whitaker (Kristie), Steve Whitaker (Candy) and Chandra Bufkin (Robby). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
