It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alex Marcelle Joe Sr. (Pascagoula, Mississippi), who passed away on April 27, 2024, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Joe (Nadine); his significant other Geanette Boyсе; his children, Shamari A. Lovett, Sharnette A. Joe, Alex M. Joe, Jr. and Jeremy R. Flora; his grandchildren, Amari N. Lovett, Armond D. Lovett, Alaya D. Lovett and Londyn A. Bass; his sisters, Paula Dewar (Garnett) of Atlanta, GA, Dana Foster, Sr. (Brian) of Jacksonville, FL, Tiffany A. McCuller of Pascagoula, MS and Alexis Joe Parson (Renita) of Ocean Springs, MS; his aunts and uncles, Cheryl A. Lafargue of Pascagoula, Marcella Lafargue, Blanche Lafargue of Sandimas, CA, Rose Joe Stephens (David) of Meridian, MS, Chrystal Gates (Roger) of Ocean Springs, Alexis Joe (Melvin) of Diberville, MS, Sharon Joe of Pascagoula, Debra Lee (Al) of Moss Point, MS, Louis Jue (Janie) of Houston, TX, Daryl Joe (Gwen) of Moss Point, MS and John Lafargue, Jr. (Sonny) of Sandimas, CA; his godparents, Elaine Hunter and Joseph Pitts, Jr.; his extended family, Durdens, McElroys, Sabinos, Petites, Cooks, Boyces and Middletons; and also Troy Cobb (Toya). He is also survived by many cousins and other friend.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 8:30 AM at the St Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (1715 Telephone Rd, Pascagoula, MS 39567). A rosary was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Biloxi National Cemetery (400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531).
