She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Sims and Mary E. Sims; her husband Hollis Hunter; her daughter Shalunda B. Hunter; and her siblings, Marco A. Sims, Charles Sims and Annie Sims.
She is survived by: her sister Missouria Sims; her sons, Marcus K. Hunter (Venessa Graham-Hunter) and Jothan O. Hunter; her grandchildren, Brittany, Courtney, Zaria, Ja'Myia, Angelina, Madysen, Jothan II and Mason; and her great grandchild Sevyn Cook. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
