It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deveon Cunningham Sr. of Pascagoula, Mississippi, who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Chestnut; his stepfather Willie Chestnut; his children, Deveon Cunningham Jr. and Kuriana Blakney (Randy); his siblings, Ka'Sha Cunningham, Willie Sims Sr. (Melody) and Olwyn Poole; his nieces and nephews, Asher Doby, Willie Sims Jr., Izayah Sims, Kyiona Sims, Maiah Sims and LeAnda Nolan; his aunts and uncles, Shirley Lemon (Irvin), Mattie Owens, Beverly Ann Myers (Daniel), Carrie, Mae Cunningham, Clifford Mann Sr. (Linda), Noble "Junebug" Mann (Virginia), Fernandez "Cardell" Mann (Tressy), Rodger "Lavann" Mann, Charles Cunningham (Patricia) and David Lee Cunningham; his cousins, Felicia, Raphael Roland, Kimberly Williams (Willie), Clifford "Bernard" Mann Jr., Shana Mann, Allison Mann, Arerielle Mann, Nick Thomas, Derrick Thomas and Joseph Tolliver; his friends, Willie Hurd, Sadie Manuel, Montrell "Trell" Alexander, Demarcus "Marc" McLaurin, Damon McLaurin, Demetrius "Meech" McLaurin, Christopher "Chris G" Gregory, Joshua, Thompson of Leonard, Thomas and Gregory "Greg" Hinton; and his close friend Anne Walker.
