With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Thomas of Pascagoula, Mississippi, who passed away on February 21, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Dlos Smith and Jewell Smith (Polk); her husband Darwin Thomas of Blackfoot; her son Dennis Thomas (Lori); her brothers, Gerald Smith (Grace) and Bobby Smith (Lavoy); and her grandson Phillip Hinkel.
She is survived by: her sons, Danny Thomas and Dustin Thomas (Kathy) of Pascagoula; and her grandchildren, Ben Thomas (Brooke), Denise Duke (Justin) and Alan Hinkel. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other cherished family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in her honor to Arlington Baptist Church.
