He was predeceased by: his mothers, Sherrie B. Richards, Sr. and Mary Lee Richards; and his siblings, Sherrie B. Richards, Jr., Bernard L. Richards (Anthony Richards Kenneth Paul Richards) and Alice A. "Ann" Miller (Donald L. Richards).
He is survived by: his wife Cora Loquieta Hillman Richards; his children, Aundra'Browne (Lillian), Ricky Browne (Freda), Jason Richards and Jana Ferrell (Bobby); his sister Joan M. Mehal (Loraine A. "Cookie" Krebs); and his grandchildren, Jonathan Browne (Abby) and Sara Caton (Drew).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Jean Richards to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
