With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Bridges (Pascagoula, Mississippi), born in Mobile, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 17, 2025 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Bridges and Irene Bridges; and his siblings, Alex Bridges Jr., James Bridges, Morris Bridges, Frank Bridges, Franklin Bridges, Ella Mae Dark, Louise Gibson, Irene Barnes, Maxine Ezell, Mable Sellers and Sadie Jones.
He is survived by: his siblings, Wanda Johnson of Pascagoula, Gwendolyn Bridges of Mobile, Alabama, Randolph Bridges (Shirley) of Mobile, Alabama, Marion Bridges of Mobile, Alabama and David Bridges of Mobile, Alabama; his son Delrico Alexander; and his siblings' children, April Ward (Michael) of Moss Point, Chavone Felder of Pascagoula, Mississippi and Robert Shelton (Jennifer White). He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Guardian Angels Funeral Home (2034 Old Mobile Ave, Pascagoula, MS 39567).
