She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Fisher (David), Rosalyn "Amber" Mangum and Tracie Poweleit (Bruce Houser); her grandchildren, David Fisher (Carie), Kimberly Fisher, Destinee Poweleit, Danaka Poweleit, Jordan Mangum (Amber), Lucas Mangum, Brayden Reed and Madeline Reed; and her great grandchildren, Wesley Mangum, Jackson Mangum, Bryce Cooper and Beaux Southern.

Kathy requested in lieu of flowers, memorials to be made to her church, Riverside Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1686, Pascagoula, MS 39567.

“Dear Family, I am Kathy's favorite cousin . We lost touch long ago. Truth be told, we shared many wonderful moments growing up. Some good times and some sad. Kath was the brave one, to my shy nature. The best memory is the night we spent hitching a ride to Three Dog Nights last concert. After, we walked to a Shell station where the manager let us pump gas for a time. Then we flagged down a lone motorcycle rider. We promised to behave, and he drove us both, on the back to Opalocka. Love ya Kath”
