He was predeceased by : his parents, Henrietta Watson, and J. D. Watson, Sr.; and his siblings, J. D., Willie, Gene Watson, Lela Morris and Yvonne Watson.
He is survived by : his daughter Germelle Watson; his sister Ida Coleman; his niece Moma Lue; his nephew Buddy; and his friend Cora Gabison. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
