We bid farewell to Nancy Barfield Coon of Pascagoula, Mississippi, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 21, 2025 at the age of 87. Nancy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raybon Barfield and Inez Barfield; her husband Jim "Pop" Coon; her brothers, D. L. Barfield and Jerry Barfield; her parents-in-law, Maurice and Madie Lee Coon; and her sister-in-law Debbie Jane Coon.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie Olsen (Rick), Jay Coon (Barbara) and Tracey Evans (Gary); her grandchildren, Ryan Olsen (Jennifer), Malorie Olsen, Allison Gilliard (Caleb), James Coon and Hannah Williamson (Keaton Friend); her great grandchildren, Hayley, Hayes, Krew, Josie, Waylon and Koe; her sisters, Martha Blazek and Shirley Crowley (Royce); and her siblings-in-law, Carol Barfield and Billy Coon (Llewellyn).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
