He was predeceased by: his parents, Hestle Henry and Lorena Johnson; and his siblings, Nora Godwin and Claude Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Faye Cox Johnson; his son Gregory Hestle Johnson (Sherie); his sister Gloria Ann Wallace (Billy); his granddaughters, Tiffany Nicole Johnson and Jessica Diann Johnson Jackson (Houston); and his great grandchildren, Claire Elizabeth Ardis and Declan Luca Jackson. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law, a sister-in-law, and a niece, nephews, and extended relatives.
