He was predeceased by: his wife Deborah Ray Smith; his parents, Terrill Sr. Smith and Dorothy Kunitz Smith; his siblings, Dorothy Joan Smith and Terrill H. Smith, Jr.; his parents-in-law, John Raymond and Josephine Ray; and his sister-in-law Denise Nelson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Smith and Mary Ann Smith; his sister-in-law Gai Smith; his nieces, Dr. Tara Festa (Jonathan), JoAnna Herring (Paul) and Laura Shoemake (Derek); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hayes Festa, Cole Herring, Carter Shoemake, Sutton Festa, Riley Shoemake and Collins Herring; his brother-in-law Dale Ray (Amy); and his aunt Annemarie Smith. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
