She was predeceased by: her parents, Raoul Dedeaux and Elsie Brown; her husband Willis James, Jr.; her daughter Elsie James; and her siblings, Delmas Dedeaux, Raoul Dedeaux, Jr., Albert Dedeaux, Leonard Jordan, Leslie Jordan, Camille Cook, Nettie Malley, Armantine Barbine, Alice Wilson, Evelyn Barbine, Mable Smith and Olivia Daniels.
She is survived by: her children, Willie James, Martha Williams, Lola Smith, Kathy Brooks and Mary James; and her sister Yvonne Thomas (Robert). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and lifelong friends.
