He was predeceased by : his parents, Grant Shoemaker and Bertie Shoemaker; his siblings, Betty Guthrie, James Shoemaker and George Shoemaker; and his stepson Jerred Necaise.
He is survived by : his wife Sheila Necaise Shoemaker; his daughter Kim Jarreau (Corey); his stepsons, Stephen Necaise and Jamie Necaise (Michelle); his grandson Adam McGraw; and his sisters, Charlotte Scarborough (Charles) and Dianne Davis (Billy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the South MS Humane Society.
