She was predeceased by: her husband Nigel Abbott; her parents, Grady Houston James and Geneva Frances Mills; and her sister Sandra Gale Webb. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Hendry of Seguin, TX and Cindy Starita of Gulfport, MS; her stepdaughter Susanne Abbott of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, Scott Starita, David Starita, Brandi Hendry, Jordan Hendry, Amanda Freitas, Christopher Arce and Nikolas Hendry; her great grandchildren, Gideon, Jedidiah, Naomi, Zayden, Daniella, Lily, Tatum, Alba, Everleigh, Evander, Talon, Sailor, Juliette, Charlotte and Isabella; and her brothers, Melvin James (Arnett) of Weatherford, TX and Terry James (Gale) of Diamondhead, MS..
