He was predeceased by: his parents, Provis Cuevas and Belena Ladner Cuevas; his wife Merle Dean Cuevas; his daughter-in-law Regina Cuevas; and his siblings, Helena Cuevas Babin (Floyd Sr.), Purvey Cuevas (Barbara) and Preston Cuevas (Judy).
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Cuevas (Sidney), Cheryl Ladner (Tony), Tracy Cuevas (Dena), Travis Cuevas (Stephanie), Terri Cuevas and Eva Gay McKay (Coy); his grandchildren, Tara Lizana (Clint), Desmond Cuevas (Brittney), Tyler Berry, Kenric Ladner (Stephanie), Derric Ladner (Shanee), Eric Ladner (Jessica), Brandon Cuevas (Dan), Breanna Cuevas (Kent), Joey Cuevas (Laura), Theresa Crawford (Matt), Shelley Pavolini (Desmond), Tasha Cuevas, Brett McKay (Patricia) and Kristie Necaise (Kurt); his goddaughters, Pauline Necaise Blackwell and Ernestine Peterson; his brothers, Bernell Cuevas, Prentiss Cuevas (Deborah) and Darcy Cuevas (Kathy); and his caregiver Brittney Cuevas. He is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will dearly miss him and his mentor.
