He is survived by : his children, Jose Ricardo Valdez, Jr. (Shirley), Jamie Dobson (Jason) and Michael Valdez (Suzanne). He is also survived by one of twelve children with 5 brothers and 6 sisters, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
