She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Hill Cross and John Patrick Cross; and her siblings, Yvette Flowers, Patricia Brann and Robert Edwin Cross.
She is survived by: her husband John Brown of Pass Christian, MS; her daughters, Stephanie Brown (Jonathan) of Petal, MS and Melanie Brown (Andrew Jessup) of Chicago, IL; her friend Jane Varner (Matt) of Gulfport, MS; her grandchildren, Hannah Blythe of Petal, MS, Brooks Foil of Petal, MS, Ava Grace and Joseph Varner of Gulfport, MS; her sisters, Elizabeth Calhoun (Nathan), Camille "Boosie" Morgan (Mike) and Diane Willard (David); her siblings-in-law, Milton Brann and Marti Wiggins (Billy); her friend Talaresha Willis; and her pet Charlie Brown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Humane Society of South Mississippi, Shriners Hospitals for Children, or Parkway Baptist Church.
