He is survived by: his wife Lois Ann Bennett Brewer; his children, Lauren Brewer and Corrie McDonald, Sr. (Serena); his siblings, Aubrey Brewer, Sr. (Patsy), Dwight Brewer (Louise), Ronnie Brewer (Kathy), Elvis Ray Brewer (Shelia) and Elizabeth Hoskins; his grandchildren, Corrie McDonald, Jr. and Tyler McDonald; and his great grandchild Rosalie McDonald. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Finley Cemetery.
