He was predeceased by: his adoptive father Paul Archibald Gaudet; his parents, Paul Gaudet and Alice Gaudet; his stepmother Lucy Carroll Gaudet; his stepbrothers, Leigh Carroll III and Frederick Sinclair Carroll; his sister Michelle Gaudet Burris; his siblings-in-law, Terry Carl Retersdorf and Sheila Kerrigan Carroll; and his nephews, Leigh Carroll IV and Alfred Gaudet Hodges.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Davis Gaudet; his friend Russell Mitchell; his stepbrother Joseph Wheadon Carroll (Susan Breit Carroll) of Mandeville, LA; his half-sister Mary Gaudet Retersdorf of Pass Christian, MS; and his sister-in-law Jacqueline Wolfe Carroll of Pass Christian, MS.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
