He is survived by: his wife Mary Katherine Pierce; and his sons, James Brian Pierce (TJ), Trace Scott Pierce (Debra), Jeffery Dwayne Pierce (April) and Tommy Allen Meridith (Crissy). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
