She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Johnston and Chris Johnston; her husband Glen Johnson; her grandchildren, Kimberly Gardner and Jackie Gardner, Jr.; and her siblings, Chris Johnston, Frank Johnston, James Johnston, Gerald Johnston, Patricia Downs, Betty McQueen and Mary Fowler.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Gardner, Jack, Timothy George, Renee', Anthony George and Tonya; her grandchildren, Heather Skinner, Branden George, Ashten George and Mia Williams; her great grandchildren, Zoe Dorough, Luke Dorough, Samuel Skinner and Ava Skinner; her great great grandchild Landon Self; and her sisters, Bobbie Saxton and Gennie George (Pete). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home (3780 US-80, Pearl, MS 39208). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at the Dry Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (195 Garrett Rd, Florence, MS 39073).
