Edward Hilton Winstead Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Hilton Winstead of Pearl, Mississippi, who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wives, Aletha Williams Winstead and Mary Parkman Winstead; and his daughter Susan Winstead Walker. He is survived by: his wife Elouise Lackey Winstead; his children, Carlton Winstead (Wanda), Michael Winstead (Christina), Chris Hudson (Billy), Annette Evans (Larry) and Angie Dear (Kevin); and his sister Frances Ruth Newton (Lou). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Flowood Baptist Church (1649 Old Fannin Rd, Flowood, MS 39232). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the Winstead family requests memorials be made to Flowood Baptist Church.
