With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Martin of Pearl, Mississippi, who passed away on November 7, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Elbert Godwin and Mildred Vaughan Godwin; her husband John; and her siblings, James "Bo" Godwin and Maggie Johnson.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Shirley Self and Rose Godwin; and her nieces and nephews, Jan Francis, Elaine Coburn, Debbie Godwin, James Godwin, Oscar Self and Donald Johnson. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
