Ruth Evelyn Collins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Evelyn Collins of Pearl, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 8, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Boone and Maggie Burnham Boone; her husband Joe Collins; and her son Joey Collins. She is survived by: her children, Terri Williamson (Tony), Kevin Collins (Sandy), Steve Collins (Connie) and Tim Collins; her grandchildren, Nikki Lewis, Katie Taunton, Chris Collins, Tyler Williamson, Joey Collins, Owen Collins and Evan Collins; and her siblings-in-law, Guy Collins (Melba), Eula Mae Jenkins, Jeannie Collins and Carolyn Collins. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ott & Lee Funeral Homes- Brandon (1360 W Government St, Brandon, MS 39042). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
