He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Ross Leamond and Mary Dell King; his daughter Michele Leamond; and his brother Frank Arl Leamond. He is survived by: his wife Jan Leamond; his children, Kimberly Courtney (Lee), Amanda Leamond and Dwayne Leamond; and his sister Margo Donaldson (Lew). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.
