He is survived by: his parents, Billy Merritte and Kristin Kirby; his sister Elizabeth Merritte; his aunt Nena Merritte Klein; his uncle Mark Merritte; his cousin Jacob Williams; his uncle Clinton; his aunt Marti Kirby; and his cousins, Alexander and Jackson Kirby.
