We are sad to announce that, on December 11, 2025, at the age of 98, Willie Louise Lewis Rodgers of Pearl, Mississippi, born in Puckett, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Willie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Willie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband James B. Rodgers; her son David Rodgers; her mother Ollie Lewis; and her brothers, Pat Lewis and Ronnie Lewis.
She is survived by: her daughter Laurie; and her son-in-law Tim Carmichael of Pearl, MS..
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to the Puckett Cemetery Fund.
