She was predeceased by: her parents, G. D. Patterson and Bertie Edwards Patterson; her husband John D. "Buddy" Hart, Jr.; and her son David Allen Hart. She is survived by: her daughters, Belinda Gail Hart and Pamela Jo Hart; her grandson Adam Hart Surkin (Leian); and her great grandchildren, Shelby Ann and Evelyn Dupree Surkin.
