It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard James Barnes of Pelahatchie, Mississippi, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Elwood Barnes and Harriet Sebren Barnes. He is survived by : his wife Kim Barnes; his children, Vallerie Lacey (Michael), John Barnes (Lee) and William Barnes (Jessica); his sisters, Lynn Smallwood (Larry) and Sherry Ranier (Jerry); and his grandchildren, Kaylynn Buskirk, Cole Buskirk, Michael Alan Lacey and Emma Grace Lacey.
