He was predeceased by: his former wife Jan Hanson; and his parents, Arnold Hanson and Marie Hanson. He is survived by: his wife Martha Hanson; his children, Herbert Hanson and Michelle Rhodes (Keith); his brothers, Dale Hanson, Jack Hanson and Gene Hanson; his grandchildren, Brooke Rhodes, Tyler Rhodes, Taylor Vinson, Haley Hanson and Erin Hanson; and his great grandchildren, Harrison, Reese, Libby and Aspen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to American Legion Post 171, P.O. Box 1024, Pelahatchie, MS 39145, or to the Mission Fund at the Church at Shiloh.
