He was predeceased by : his sons, David Acuna and Tyler Mefford; and his parents, James Otis Tassin, Sr. and Mattie Bryant. He is survived by : his children, Courtney Smith (Aaron), Sydney Tassin, William Tassin, Jennifer Tassin and Veronica Tassin; his siblings, Carl Tassin, Ricky Edmonds, Pamela Bedgood (Sam), Beth Daniels (Don) and Tommy Edmonds; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Gracie, Aaron, Anthony and Eli. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
