He was predeceased by: his father Edward Tanner; his grandparents, Joan, William "Bugs" Sample, Josephine and Hillman Tanner; and his uncles, Hillman "Buddy" Tanner and Bryan "Boog" Sample.
He is survived by: his mother Donna Tanner; his siblings, Joe Tanner (Melinda), Kathy Tanner, Michael Tanner (Stacey) and Matt Tanner (Sherry); and his aunts and uncles, Rhonda (Mike), Tammie (Allen), Brenda (Matt), Stephen (Debbie), Pam (Eddie), Pat, Raymond and Walter (Pam). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Services (319 US 49, McHenry, MS 39561). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the McHenry Gardens Cemetery.
