She was predeceased by: her parents, Freddie Sanderson and Jewel Sanderson; her husband Roderick Hardie, Sr.; her children, Mitch Hardie, Sr. and Jody Hardie Courteaux; and her grandson Zachary Kyle Hardie.
She is survived by: her sons, Roderick Hardie, Jr. of Perkinston and Darrell W. Hardie (Suzette) of Perkinston; her daughter-in-law Melissa Hardie Ruhr (Andrew) of Kiln; her grandchildren, Mitch Hardie, Jr. (Farrah) of Gulfport, Roderick Hardie, III of Picayune, Erica Hardie Webb (Justin) of Diamondhead, Darrell Hardie, Jr. (Brittany) of Diamondhead, P. J, Courteaux, Jr. (Jenny) of Bay St, Austin Courteaux (Autumn) of Waveland and Alexa Hardie of Diamondhead; and her siblings, Montee Wheat and James Sanderson. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
