He was predeceased by: his parents, Welch Ivan Hobby, Sr. and Velma Geneva Ball; his wife Imogene Brown Hobby; his son Richard Lee Hobby; and his siblings, Mary Alice Wood, Willie Rae Brown, Buddy Hobby and Joe Hobby.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa K. Walker; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Tomlin Hobby and Carolyn Brown Whitehead; and his close friends, Jim, Connie Walker, Daniel Allman and Sharon Roberts. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of South Mississippi or to ones favorite charity.
